The Tharaka Nithi County Assembly conducts vetting of nominees for various public offices in line with the Constitution of Kenya, the County Governments Act, and other applicable laws. The vetting process ensures that nominees meet the required qualifications, demonstrate integrity, and are suitable to serve the people of Tharaka Nithi County.
Objectives of Vetting
- To promote transparency and accountability in public appointments.
- To ensure compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity.
- To allow public participation by giving citizens an opportunity to submit views on nominees.
