In line with the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2012 Section 13), the County Assembly is in the process of considering the Annual Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2026/2027 In support of planned programmes and projects and their budgeted allocations of expenditure.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 196 (1] and (b] of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 as read together with Section 87 of the County Governments Act, 2012, the County Assembly Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations will be conducting public hearings as here under shown:

The Committee invites the members of the Public and aIl stakeholders to submit any view and presentations that they may have on the Budget Estimates in any of the above venues or through written memoranda.
Written views or memoranda on the Annual Budget Estimates for the FY 2026/2027 may be hand delivered to the Office of the Clerk or – emailed to tharakanithicountyassembly@gmail.com or clerk@tharakanithiassembly.go.ke on or before Thursday 11th June, 2026 close of bussiness.
The Budget Estimates may be obtained from the 0ffice of the Clerk, County Assembly Offices or the County Assembly website https://tharakanithiassembly.go.ke.
