INVITATION FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION/SUBMISSION OF MEMORANDA ON THE THARAKA NITHI COUNTY GOVERNMENT ANNUAL BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2025/2026
In line with the Public Finance Management (PFM) Act, 2012 Section 131, the County Assembly is in the process of considering the Annual Budget Estimates for the Financial Year 2025/2026 in support of planned programmes and projects and their budgeted allocations of expenditure.
Pursuant to the provisions Article 196(1)(b) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Section 117 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012 and the Tharaka Nithi County Assembly Standing Order 241 and 245 respectively, the Tharaka Nithi County Assembly hereby informs the general public of the public hearing on the Tharaka Nithi County Government Budget Estimates for The Financial Year 2025/2026.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 196 (1)(a) and (b) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 as read together with Section 87 of the County Governments Act, 2012, the County Assembly Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriations will be conducting public hearings as here under shown:

The committee invites interested members of the public to submit their representations that they may have on the Budget Estimates for The Financial Year 2025/2026 orally in the venues above or through written memoranda.
Written views or memoranda may be hand delivered to the Office of the Clerk or emailed to tharakanithicountyassembly@gmail.com or clerk@tharakanithiassembly.go.ke on or before the close of business Friday 6th June, 2025.
For ease of reference, the Budget Estimates for The Financial Year 2025/2026 may be obtained from the Office of the Clerk, County Assembly Offices or the County Assembly website http://tharakanithiassembly.go.ke.
